Watch Buster Posey Nail a 27-foot Birdie at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Baseball season hasn’t even started yet and San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey is already winning.

The three-time World Series champion teamed up with Nick Watney at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am this past weekend and touted his stuff in the final round. As you can see above, the 27-year-old showed us what life might be like post-baseball by nailing a tough 27-foot birdie on the 11th hole par-4.

Posey and Watney ended up finishing sixth in the pro-am, while Watney soaked up those championship vibes to finish second in the individual tournament. Buster told MLB.com after the tournament:

“It was an experience, for sure,” said Posey, whose pro-am team with Watney finished tied for sixth at 34-under. “I’ve been a fan of golf for a long time. It was cool to be able to walk up to the 18th hole there with the eventual winner and Watney.”

Also worth noting is that Buster bested teammate Matt Cain, who finished tied for 10th at -30.
