There’s nothing more terrifying for baseball fans than spring training. There are way too many games and every year there always seems to be a ridiculous non-baseball related injury that strikes. I mean, last year Francisco Rodriguez stepped on a damn cactus while participating in the Cactus League. Come on!
But this didn’t stop new Athletics second baseman Ben Zobrist from tempting the baseball gods a week before reporting to camp. As you can see in the above video, the utility man appears to have successfully run on ice while playing with his kids.
A’s fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing the Zorilla is super coordinated.
