A Car Crashed Through the Outfield Fence at Stillwell Stadium



After Thursday evening’s events at Stillwell Stadium, it would be an understatement to say that the 2015 Kennesaw State Owls baseball season is off to a bit of an ominous start.
According to KSUOwlHowl.com, a car blasted through a section of the right field fence, putting the team’s home opener against Liberty in doubt.




Though canceling the game never seemed to be an option for the school as they quickly acknowledged the situation and affirmed that the game must go on. (I mean, it’s just a fence, right?)

And made light of the unusual situation with some jokes:

Nothing like the threat of splinters to make an outfielder think twice about playing hero defense.
