As you can see in the above video, the basketball thing hasn’t really worked out for Ohio State’s Amir Williams.
Williams entered OSU in 2011 as the No. 53 prospect in the nation and was a McDonald’s All-American (per 247 sports). Unfortunately, the production has not matched the hype during Williams’ collegiate career thus far. Wednesday night was no different with a botched dunk attempt on two tiny guys from Penn State. (Come on, Amir. I get that you’re 6’11” but you still have to elevate somewhat.)
The big man has averaged just 4.9 points and 4.1 rebounds in his four years in Columbus, and the fans are just about over it:
