Will Muschamp’s Gainesville House Is For Sale — $1,800,000

Update: There’s an offer pending. Backup offers are still being accepted.

We’ve been waiting patiently for Will Muschamp’s house in Gainesville to hit the market and it just happens that it was listed today, on National Signing Day, for $1,800,000. Will is now the defensive coordinator at Auburn so he doesn’t have much use for the massive four bedroom, five bath house on nearly two acres.

Mr. Happy paid $1,775,000 for this pad in 2011 so at this price he’s just trying to get out of town.

According to Will’s real estate agent:

One of a kind Mediterranean masterpiece, originally built for builder’s personal home on 1.96 AC in exclusive Biltmore. Energy efficient insulated block construction, clay tile barrel roof, architectural details worthy of any design magazine. Stunning travertine floors, 22′ domed ceiling in formal LR and unique rotunda above wrought iron staircase. Down includes formal/informal areas; walk around bar with 375 bottle wine cellar; magnificent kitchen w/ Sub Zero drawers and Wolf commercial range; family room w/ FP & built ins; fabulous game room with FP and summer kitchen; study; master w/ exercise studio, 2nd laundry. Up is 2 bedrms/2 ba, bonus room, theater, 3rd W/D. Resort style pool, 1200 sq. ft. covered lanai for seating and dining.

In other words, it’s a pretty nice place that will forever be haunted by Will’s 29-21 record in Gainesville. Don’t complain when you buy the place and it’s haunted.

Other highlights of Mr. Happy’s palace:

• 8,849 sq. ft. so you’ll have plenty of room to avoid your family

• Great master bathroom where you’ll feel like a below-average SEC football coach

• The TV/bar room is horrible…I’d advise hiring someone to design a better room

26 minutes from Cafe Risque

• The pool is tiny for this kind of house; Mr. Happy must not like swimming

Mortgage: $6,500 before you start talking about taxes, maid service, grounds crew
