You don’t have to be a basketball nerd to know that the Chinese Slam Dunk Contest is kind of a mess. It’s just easy to connect the dots and assume if the NBA dunk contest is a joke, then an international affair with less athletic players would be even worse.
Unfortunately, players competing in this contest are overzealous and don’t get the concept. That’s why we are treated to annual dunk fails where dudes who can barely jump attempt to sky over five individuals.
