Green Bay has a reputation for having some of the nicest people in the country. But even the nicest person in that city will surely be part of the mob that runs Brandon Bostick out of town.
Bostick coughed up a crucial onside kick, which allowed Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and the Seahawks offense to march down the field for the go-ahead touchdown.
Green Bay came back down the field and tied the game on a 48 yard Mason Crosby field goal. But Seattle scored on the first possession over over time, sealing the victory on a deep post down the middle to Jermaine Kearse.
Bostick has to feel absolutely sick to his stomach right now. Hopefully that guy didn’t buy a house in Green Bay because there is now way he’ll be returning to the Packers next season.
A good portion of the blame has to go to Mike McCarthy. Guy turtled and played it way too safe during those last few possessions. You gotta put the ball in Aaron Rodgers’ hands at that point and let him seal the game. Instead, you run the ball six straight times and watch your team lose. Depressing.
