You can bet tensions were running high in Texas after the Green Bay Packers came away with a controversial victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The crowd in Brownsville was particularly chippy as two female fans (one Cowboys fan, one Packers) engaged in a slugfest in the middle of a street in Brownsville.
According to KGBT-TV Action 4 News, the female Packers fan (who was in her car) decided to confront the mob of Cowboys fans parading around after the loss:
The video purportedly showed a woman driver, who’s wearing a Packers jersey, parked in the middle of the street.
“The person in Packers colors decides to park and confront the people and are having an exchange of words with them,” Rodriguez said.
The fight broke out after the woman in the Packers jersey started to head back to her vehicle.
As per usual, common sense with NFL fans was tossed out the window. Why in the world would you exit your safe vehicle and talk smack to a glob of opposing fans?!
