Despite the Cleveland Cavaliers being scheduled to play Tuesday night in Phoenix, LeBron James couldn’t help but attend the CFP National Championship game between Oregon and Ohio State.
While I understand the whole support Ohio thing, it’s definitely an interesting look to be out in Dallas with Damon freakin’ Jones when you’re a game-time decision for a game the next day. Suns reporter Paul Coro provided an update to James’ status Tuesday morning, and it’s probably what you’d expect from a guy who took a red-eye flight with back and knee issues:
I mean, I guess when you basically run an NBA franchise you can do what you want. Maybe he just needed to be reminded of what winning a title is like again?
