On Monday, BC commander Joe Kinsey provided a status update on the finger Jose Canseco blew off while cleaning his Ruger pistol. Shockingly, it wasn’t totally disgusting—at least not as disgusting as it used to be. Sure it had a pin jammed in there and looked abnormal, but hey, what do you expect?
An important note from the update was the desire to see this Bash Brah swing a softball bat once more—a prayer that appears to be somewhat close to being answered.
Canseco announced today that he plans on being ready for softball season, citing the buddy tape system as one of his final steps to recovery:
As an added bonus, all that tape kind of masks how weird his finger looks. All we can do now is wait anxiously until Canseco posts his return to the diamond … or fights CM Punk, either works.
