Lost in the fray of the NBA’s glutting supply of quality point guards is the improvement of the Wizards’ John Wall. The John Calipari product has improved steadily year by year and is averaging career highs in assists (9.3) and steals (2.3) this season.
Wall provided more of the same Wednesday night, putting up 17 points and 15 assists on a lowly Lakers squad. However, no one will remember this game because Wall put up stats on a bad team. No. They are going to remember it as the night the Antoine Walker shimmy made its triumphant return to the hardwood.
After nailing a three-pointer (and getting fouled by Kobe Bryant) near the end of regulation, Wall busted out the dance we hadn’t seen in years.
