Bill Belichick continues to be that dick professor who locks his doors right when class starts.
On Friday, running back Jonas Gray was the latest victim to face Belichick’s wrath, getting sent home for arriving to practice late. Gray, who rushed for 201 yards and four touchdowns on Sunday, blames his alarm not going off because his phone battery died.
Darrelle Revis met a similar fate last month, but he still played his usual amount of snaps during the game.
Still, I wouldn’t put it past Belichick to take some carries away from young Gray to humble him a bit. It also doesn’t help that LeGarrette Blount is back in the rotation.
Gray apparently texted all of his teammates to apologize and had plans to meet with Belichick to beg for forgiveness.
