The Browns fell from first to last today after losing to the Ryan Mallett led Texans, 23-7. It’s extra tough this year because the expectations have been raised, so when the Browns flounder the rest of the year and miss the playoffs once again, it’s just going to hurt the city of Cleveland a little bit more than usual.
And if there ever was a picture that summed up today’s disappointment, the Cleveland Browns, and probably the entire city of Cleveland, it’s this one:
It looks like one of those mothers from Helm’s Deep comforting their daughters before a gang of 300,000 orcs comes and slaughters them. It’s just football, people. And you always have Lebron to fall back on once the Browns go into the tank.
