You know actress Aubrey Plaza as Star-Lord’s people-hating wife April Ludgate in the NBC series, “Parks and Recreation.”
But in real life, Plaza takes her scowl and balls it up on the hardwood and cements courts of Los Angeles for an intramural basketball squad called The Pistol Shrimps—an all-female team comprised of actresses, models, and some ordinary people.
Plaza revealed to GQ that her roots as a basketball player began in the Catholic Conference League in her home state of Delaware for a team named the Warriors.
