I completely understand that Eagles fans will now jump on Twitter and tell me they’re going to kick my ass over that headline…blah, blah, blah. Just another day in this business. I will also be reminded that at least Philly fans don’t kill fans like in San Francisco.
That’s factually wrong, they do kill fans — their own.
Who is the aggressor in this fight? Celek fan. Who takes a swing at a guy as he’s being led away by security? Celek fan.
Eagles fans should just embrace the fact that there’s a significant part of their fanbase that have scumbag tendencies. Don’t bother wasting time denying or defending scumbag Eagles fans. Make t-shirts with “Philly scumbags” on the front. Turn it into a rallying cry: “Win one for the scumbags.”
