Whitney Miller, 2012 Miss United States, Is A Jiu-Jitsu Fighter

Will Whitney Miller, a beauty pageant queen who was named 2012 Miss United States, ever fight Ronda Rousey for a UFC belt? Let’s hope. Imagine the storylines.

Miller (Instagram), who is fighting in jiu-jitsu tournaments, has released a YouTube video documenting her journey to become a blackbelt.

As we’ve seen over the last year or so, more and more women who’ve carved a career out of being beautiful are now transitioning to combat sports. You might remember that former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader Rachel Wray has been in a couple bloody MMA fights. There is also ring girl Emily Miller who is into kickboxing. And we can’t forget teen Cheyanne Vlismas, a fighter who stepped into the cage just days after her 18th birthday.

Miller (@Miss2Jits), however, is the first Miss Anything we can find that has traded in her crown for possible black eyes.

The results have been impressive. She won her first Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament in gi (using the jacket) and won silver in no-gi.
