Pittsburgh native Ben Roethlisberger, best known as the American Sniper, is in a new video from “Gridiron Outdoors” on the Outdoor Channel shooting a sniper rifle at a target in west Texas. Yes, he still has his ISIS beard, but he’s the American Sniper in his camo.
The Outdoor Channel tagged this video as “Big Ben goes deep.” Seems appropriate. In this episode, the American Sniper gets long range training from Former SEAL Clayton Hergert.
In case you can’t watch at work, here’s what the American Sniper had to say about his fantasy day:
“The sniper part, doing the long-range shooting, working with the SEAL sniper guys,” Roethlisberger said. “You think of all the dream jobs, I wanted to be like James Bond or a ‘Top Gun’ fighter pilot, the bad dude that’s a sniper that could shoot someone from a mile away. It’s kind of pretty cool.”
And, if you’re still wondering, Roethlisberger still hates his hometown of Findlay, Ohio because former teammates said he was a bad high school teammate.
