Dolphin Rescues Heat Dancer’s iPhone From Bottom of Ocean

Ugh. Don’t you just hate it when you’re swimming in the Bahamas and someone with terrible hands drops your iPhone into the ocean? The worst.
Miami Heat dancer Teressa Cee certainly knows the feeling, as her iPhone met a watery death last week while on location. However, unlike most people who would just accept their phones untimely fates, Teressa had a friend willing to swim to the depths to retrieve her phone: Cacique the dolphin.

Her story:

True Story: While in the Bahamas, I had the opportunity to go swimming with dolphins on #BlueLagoonIsland. We were filming on this floating platform in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. So, against a my better judgment I asked someone to hold my phone for me and he accidentally dropped my phone into water and it sank to the bottom. Cacique, the dolphin, actually retrieved my phone and brought it back up to me. Cutest thing ever! #Unbelievable #Bahamas#DolphinEncounter

This sounds cute, but man, this just makes me trust dolphins even less. We all know they are horrifically violent predators, but on their downtime they’ll swoop up a lost iPhone if they see it? Shady stuff.
