As per usual, the Mets had issues getting their offense going during their game against the Diamondbacks on Saturday (though they did end up winning). And since this struggle to manufacture offense is pretty much the norm, some fans rightfully turned to an old friend early to numb the pain: alcohol!
However, Mets fans and alcohol can sometimes lead to disastrous incidents — like this nasty spill that took place in the fifth inning:
