Another weekend, another weekend spent partying in a city other than Cleveland for Johnny Manziel. Spotters on the ground in Houston report that John was partying his ass off late last night at Houston hotspot Dekan with none other than socialite Colleen Crowley, the same chick he was spotted with last weekend in Houston entering a Drake show.
Love it. Love it. Love it.
This all comes as Joe Haden gave some advice to John on Friday via a Florida ESPN affiliate.
“I just really think Johnny needs to maybe check his friends a little bit,” Haden said. “Everybody’s going to go out, everybody’s going to have a good time. But you’ve got to make sure when you’re with your people it just doesn’t get out. “You need to have a phone valet. Tell your friends ‘put your phones away.’ We’re going to go out and have a good time and just don’t record what you’re doing.
That’s not John’s style. Look, Mike Pettine and the Browns front office are handling this just fine. Don’t bother the guy with ridiculous rules that are only going to make him frustrated. The guy needs to party. He wants to be seen partying. He craves the attention. He doesn’t need phone valet. He wants photos to end up on Instagram.
Some guys like to party in private. Some guys like to party with the average people of this great country. John likes the latter. He’s not hurting anybody and shows up to work on Monday just like the rest of us. This is why the legend of John Manziel is so strong. He’s not afraid to show that he’s human and likes to hit the clubs. He’s not afraid to show that he enjoys fine women like Colleen Crowley. Joe Haden just needs to worry about Joe Haden.
