The MLB regular season continues as we ring in the month of September. All 30 teams will be in action throughout the day on Friday, with the first leg of a doubleheader kicking things off shortly after 1:00 p.m. ET.
In the opening game of the day, the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds face off in Game 1 of their doubleheader on the MLB Network, before playing Game 2 at 6:40 p.m. ET. MLB Network will also air a showdown between the Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers to cap off the day. The first pitch is scheduled for shortly after 10:00 p.m. ET.
The lone games not airing on MLB.tv throughout the day are the Seattle Mariners vs. New York Mets and Tampa Bay Rays vs. Cleveland Guardians which will stream live on Apple TV+.
MLB.tv will have a free offering when the New York Yankees and Houston Astros face off in primetime.
