Storming the field to confront an athlete is never a good idea, and one soccer fan found that out the hard way during a Europa League clash between PSV and Sevilla FC at Philips Stadium in the Netherlands on Thursday.
In the middle of the match, a fan came running out on the field and got face-to-face with Sevilla goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic. The fan squared up and punched Dmitrovic right in the face.
But the fan quickly learned it was a bad move because the Serbian keeper immediately returned fire and dropped the fan before pinning him to the ground.

The fan was quickly surrounded by other players before security got to the scene and removed him from the pitch. Talk about taking a major L while looking for a quick few minutes of fame.
As for the match, PSV went on to beat Sevilla FC, 2-0, but Sevilla advances to the Round of 16 thanks to the aggregate score, 3-2.
