The Ultimate Fighting Championship closed out July with UFC 277 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
The event was headlined by a championship doubleheader featuring a rematch between women’s bantamweight champion Julianna Pena and women’s featherweight champion Amanda Nunes. When it was all said and done, Nunes avenged her loss in dominant fashion to reclaim her double-champ status.
In the co-main event, former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno faced off against Kai Kara-France and was able to earn a third-round finish to claim the interim title.
This week, the UFC dropped a sneak peek for its “UFC 277: The Thrill and the Agony” series that gives a behind-the-scenes look of fight night. In the video, we see the reactions and aftermath of the highly-anticipated, highly-discussed bout.
