UFC Vegas 48 Medical Suspensions: Jamahal Hill, 9 Others Face 6-Month Layoffs

The Ultimate Fighting Championship held UFC Vegas 48 at the UFC Apex over the weekend.

In the main event, Jamahal Hill made a statement to the rest of the light heavyweight division with a stunning knockout of Johnny Walker in under three minutes. In the co-main event, Kyle Daukaus picked up a buzzer-beating submission win over Jamie Pickett with just one second remaining in Round 1. .

Following the event, the Nevada State Athletic Commission released the full list of medical suspensions for the event with Hill and nine others facing potential six-month layoffs.

Hill must have left elbow and right forearm X-rays, and a left knee MRI. If positive, Hill must have an Orthopedic doctor clearance or no contest until August 19.
