Olympic Champ Zoi Sadowski-Synnott’s Dad Goes Viral For Hilarious Interview

Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, the reigning X Games and two-time world champion, made history at the 2022 Beijing Olympics by becoming the first Winter gold winner from New Zealand.

The 20-year-old’s win came in the snowboard slopestyle event.

After watching his daughter win gold, Sadowski-Synnott’s father Sean was approached by television cameras for an interview while he proudly let the F-bombs fly.

Can you blame him?

After the interview went viral, Sadowski-Synnott laughed along with the rest of the internet about her father’s expletive-filled interview.

“Yeah, I think really that he had a few too many drinks at that point, but you can’t really blame him, it was Waitangi Day in New Zealand (a national holiday) and his daughter just won the Olympics so..!” she told Reuters, via the New York Post.

“The last 24 hours has been a whirlwind, super-stoked to be standing here with gold around my neck.”

At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, Sadowski-Synnott took home a bronze in the women’s big air competition.

Now, she’s continuing to add to her hardware.
