The Internet Isn’t Happy With The Expected Next Jeopardy Host

Jeopardy had one job: pick a new host that the public could rally behind.

After the death of Alex Trebek, who hosted the show from its 1984 premiere until November 2020,  there were fill-ins as a bit of an audition process and a handful of temporary hosts were beloved by the public. But, when it was all said and done, it is being reported that someone close to the show will be taking over.

It won’t be Aaron Rodgers. Not LeVar Burton. No, instead the frontrunner is boring old executive producer Mike Richards.

If there is any silver lining, it is that “there’s no certainty that the sides will close a deal.” However, if Richards is to take over for Trebek, the internet has plenty of thoughts.
