Ja Rule is the latest person to cash in on the non-fungible token (NFT) craze.

The rapper decided to give us a blast from the past with the epic disaster that was Fyre Festival and sold an oil painting of the festival’s logo.

Ja Rule was asking for $600,000 for the physical copy but ultimately settled for $122,000 as an NFT — giving a one-of-a-kind digital code verified through blockchain that the winning bidder receives.

The painting, which is 48″ x 60″, was created by Tripp Derrick Barnes, according to TMZ.

Ja Rule sold the painting because he “wanted that energy out.”

While Ja Rule was just mocked in the media and on social media for his role in promoting the disastrous festival, Fyre Fest organizer Billy McFarland was sentenced to six years in prison.

Hopefully Ja can now move on with his stack of cash while the anonymous winner gets to stake their claim to a piece of infamy.
