With the Scouting Combine officially behind us, now seems like a good time to get our NFL Draft Girlfriends series rolling. You guys know how this goes by now: we introduce the lovely ladies behind your favorite prospects, and some of them steal the show in the green room on draft night. It happens every year.
Today we’re featuring the Colorado Buffs power couple of Isaiah Oliver and Drianna Mustin. Isaiah is seen as a potential first-round pick for teams in need of secondary help — draft experts certainly seemed to be impress with him at the combine:
We all have draft crushes and one, my top CB, Isaiah Oliver just impressed the hell out of me today. Yes, 4.59 isn’t top level speed, but his size, ball skills and athletic traits will grade him out for me in the top 20. #NFLDraft

Once the Combine is in the books, we’ll be talking about Isaiah Oliver and Taven Bryan as potential top 20 locks in mock drafts. They’re going to test off the charts.

Also, Colorado’s Isaiah Oliver running 4.50 at 6’0-2/8”, 201 pounds with 33 1/2” arms is outstanding. Definitely checked the size, speed, and length boxes this week. He’s another one of my RD1 corners.

NFL.com’s “bottom line” on Oliver:
Oliver possesses an outstanding combination of size, speed and length and those traits are highly coveted by NFL general managers. There are coverage holes in Oliver’s game and he needs to play with increased toughness, but he’s just scratching the surface of what his talent could allow him to do on the next level with more experience and technique work. Oliver has a high ceiling as a bump-and-run, lockdown corner, but might benefit from a limited role his rookie season.
His draft position from the latest mock drafts:
ESPN’s Todd McShay: No. 24 (Carolina)
Pro Football Focus: No. 31 (New England)
Bleacher Report: No. 33 (Cleveland)
As for Drianna, she’s a sophomore and member of the track and field team. She competes in a slew of events which include: pentathlon, hurdles, high jump, shot put, javelin, and heptathlon. The two have been together for over three years now.
