While Russell Westbrook was in the middle of his nice 46/6/6 night against the Wizards, Steven Adams was doing his best Draymond Green impression while going after a rebound. I guess when you’ve taken a couple kicks to the balls from Draymond over the years like Steven Adams has, you got to try out for yourself. Remember, Adams took not one, but two of these kicks in the 2016 playoffs.
Last night, he took what Dray taught him and expanded on it. The student has now surpassed his master. There was no subtlety with this one. Just a straight sideways karate kick right to Bradley’s Beals.
Beal tried to walk it off.

This morning, you knew Draymond would have some thoughts. He’s calling B.S. on this “inadvertent” nonsense.

Now when the playoffs roll around, maybe we can get a final battle. Master vs. student: battle of the flailing legs. First one to successfully execute a kick to the plums and avoid a technical foul wins. Battle for the ages.
