If you were worried about being blinded by the Redskins’ horrendous yellow Color Rush uniforms, you’re in luck. The team apparently hates them, too — so much so they’re going all burgundy for their Thursday Night Football game against the Cowboys.
Redskins.com’s Stephen Czarda notes this is the first time they’re going with this jersey combo since 2009:

Team president Bruce Allen has long been against the Color Rush jerseys, even going so far as to propose banning them at a league meeting earlier this year (the other owners weren’t on board). His reason? The uniforms are “garish.”
