I’m guessing SEC Network’s Laura Rutledge wants this one back. She went to the well one too many times and Coach Cal had to remind her that his team is only leading 31-30 against a 7-19 Missouri team at half. Of course he’s not going to answer a question about the Mizzou student section chanting, “Cal, you suck.”
On the other hand, I get why Laura asked it. Coach Cal usually has a quip to come back with, but this is a whole different ballgame right now. It’s February 21 and his team is a mess against a Mizzou team that has two conference victories.
Maybe you go with this question in December.
