You know that Bonanza Gift Shop at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Sahara Ave and in front of the Strat? Yeah, that one. I’m talking about the place across the street from the casino that used to be the Sahara. The Bonanza recently sold for $50 million. A Vegas real estate expert says the Bonanza makes more money being a gift shop than it would being a condo building. And to think that this end of the Strip is a virtual wasteland, but an old gift shop can go for $50 million. Maybe times in this country aren’t too bad after all.
