Wow, that’s all I can say after watching the EXPLOSIVE MMA Hour hosted by now banned UFC reporter bad boy Ariel Helwani, who got the ban hammer after breaking the Brock Lesnar 200 news before the UFC over the weekend. Helwani, who shed tears multiple times during the MMA Hour, laid out his relationship with the UFC and how it all came to a head this weekend with the Lesnar news.
Helwani says it was UFC head Lorenzo Fertitta who told Dana White to drop the hammer.

Look, this is all going to pass. It’s a typical scare tactic. Take the credential, tell the reporter guy he’s never coming back, get him to cry on video, make him crumble, reconsider six months from now.
Like the UFC needs issues from Helwani while they’re (allegedly) trying to sell the business. They need him to go away for a little bit, release the big news on their own and keep the PR machine on point.
