Two weeks ago, we featured a budget-friendly home ($365,000) in Arizona owned by Angels pitcher Hector Santiago. But if you’re looking for something grander and have more money to play with, former MLB pitcher (and ex-Angel) Scott Schoeneweis is looking to sell his Fountain Hills pad for $1.2 million.
According to public records, it was purchased back in 2004 for just $883,000 so Scott’s looking for a nice little return. Of course, it’s not like he needs it after banking over $20 million in his 12-year-career.
Details from Scott’s realtor:
Beautiful custom home in cul de sac, huge private lot, North/South exposure. Grand entrance into a formal living and dinning room. Large great room with a 2 way fireplace. Wet bar, 2 wine refrigerators. Kitchen is open and bright, gas range, granite island and stainless steel appliances. Home is perfect for entertaining indoor and out with a built in BBQ kitchen, shaded synthetic grass areas, custom lighting for the pool and spa. Relax on the covered patio next to the fireplace. Master has a separate room that could be used as an office, nursery or sitting room with an exit to the backyard. Huge bathroom with 2 walk in closets, tub with jets, double sinks and vanity. 3 car garage with built in cabinets and workshop.Detached casita with roof top deck to enjoy the sunsets and mountain views.
As you can see from the above photo, Scotty’s really feeling himself with the amount of jerseys he has on the wall. Try to snag one for a memento.
