I just got an email to my inbox this morning (in my ‘Promotions’ tab on Gmail, which I rarely look at) that caught my eye because the headline was: “>>> Attention Please! You Cannot Miss This: Join Us March 17 – 19 For Hoops On The Strip.” I don’t care if college basketball is horrible this year – the best player, Ben Simmons, won’t even be in the tournament – I’m a sucker for March Madness emails. Every. Single. Time.
So I open up this Caesars email and see that they’re selling seats to sportsbooks for the biggest guys weekend of the year with prices starting at $149-$199. It seems that the days of pulling an all-nighter to save seats for your boys to catch the Thursday-Friday games are over at certain casinos. Now you just spend the cash and sleep-in.
Buy your tickets here – I’m not getting paid a thing here. Not even a free trip to stay in Tunica or some other dumpy city.
Thinking of going out on a whim this year? In 2014, Vegas had a 98.2 percent occupancy rate during the first round of March Madness. That same March, Vegas had 3.7 million visitors. Do yourself a favor and buy a March Madness seat. Don’t be cheap, you loser.
