There are those who believe University of Minnesota basketball player Kevin Dorsey was suspended for Sunday’s game against Illinois after two sex tapes were tweeted via Dorsey’s Twitter account. Dorsey, a freshman from Maryland, posted what some are calling gangbang videos that allegedly show Dorsey doing the deed.
The university isn’t saying exactly why Dorsey was suspended, but here’s the official statement created by the school’s PR team.
The University of Minnesota men’s basketball team announced that Kevin Dorsey, Nate Mason and Dupree McBrayer will not play Sunday night at Illinois after violating team rules.
“With the privilege of being a member of the University of Minnesota basketball program there are expectations and standards to which we hold our student-athletes accountable, and they have failed to do so,” head coach Richard Pitino said.
There’s chatter on GopherHole that Dorsey might’ve recently lost his phone and someone found it, saw the videos and sabotaged the 6-0 guard.
As for what’s on the videos, here’s the report from someone who watched both.
I saw both of the videos. I apologize for being graphic but here it what I saw. In the two videos, two guys were double teaming a girl from the front and behind. In the second video, there was a different girl and Dorsey was taking the front while the other guy was doing her from behind. You could clearly see his face although he is the only one that I could see. Both videos were extremely graphic.
I wouldn’t complain at all if Pitino did give him the boot which is what probably should happen. If Kill was the coach you could bet he would be gone in a heartbeat.
Also, as noted on GI, it would be illegal to post this if the female did give consent to post the video I believe.
A Google Cache search of Dorsey’s tweet history reveals nothing besides the normal nonsense that any other freshman across the country would tweet and retweet.
