The Washington Nationals Have a Dangerous Amount of Hershey's Syrup

Ever wonder what a shipment of 108 bottles of Hershey’s chocolate syrup looks like? If so, you’re in luck, because Washington Nationals clubhouse assistant, Darwin Beacham, tweeted out the following photo of the team’s shipment Thursday morning:

Man, you have to hand to Hershey’s for coming through. Spokeswoman Anna Lingeris told ESPN’s Darren Rovell that the team would receive those bottles Thursday, and boom, a dangerous amount of syrup is now at the disposal of the Nationals for years to come.
Unless, of course, Max Scherzer goes through it all — which is a very real possibility. Scherzer revealed to the Washington Post that their sweet walk-off tradition was his idea:

“Oh, it was just something to top off a good win,” he said this week. “Chocolate sauce is the perfect topping for ice cream, so might as well top off a game, give that person in the on-field camera interview a little something to taste….It’s better than a pie in your face.”

Can’t blame him there, I’d imagine it’s more enjoyable than the burning sensation of a shaving cream pie. Just look at Dan Uggla, he’s all about it:

And you know Bryce Harper is too:
