Meet Kentucky resident Angie Spoonamore. She got a little drunk Saturday night at an Elite 8 victory celebration party and doesn’t remember trying to get her 1-year-old nephew hammered. It happens. These things happen in Kentucky during March Madness.
You can’t have Kentucky in an Elite 8 nail biter and not expect Angie to pour some rum for her nephew.
A Kentucky woman pleaded not guilty Monday to charges that she gave her 1-year-old nephew beer and rum as she celebrated Kentucky’s Elite Eight win over the weekend. Angie Spoonamore took her 1-year old nephew to a party in Garrard County to watch the UK-Notre Dame game.
An arrest citation for Spoonamore claims she gave the baby beer and rum through a sippy cup, and at one point threw the boy to the floor. He was taken to a hospital with an injured lip. In a jailhouse interview with Lexington TV station WLEX, Spoonamore said she doesn’t remember what she did to the child. “It’s really hard for me to believe that I tried to give that baby something to drink or hurt him,” Spoonamore told WLEX.
Angie is 29. That’s a hard 29 years.

I’m sure you’ll be shocked to learn that this isn’t the first time Angela has had some issues with alcohol and the police. Here she is back in 2013 visiting the police station for alcohol and meth.
