Tony Allen Singing ‘Whoomp! (There It Is)’ at His Karaoke Event

We all know the Grizzlies’ Tony Allen as the “Grindfather” for his monster defensive prowess, but off the court, it turns out the dude has some pipes.
Allen held his “fan-favorite” karaoke event tonight to raise money for Juvenile Intervention and Faith-Based-Follow-Up, and it’s safe to say he gave the people of Memphis what they wanted — Grindfather singing Tag Team’s hit song, “Whoomp! (There It Is)”:


This rendition was apparently good enough to earn Allen’s co-singer a perfect score:

Crappy singers, however, were not spared by Tony or his fellow judge, Brevin Knight. Just ask this man who smoked a box of cigarettes then sang “What a Wonderful World”:


(Yes, Brevin definitely called that guy’s singing “garbage.”)
