We all know the Grizzlies’ Tony Allen as the “Grindfather” for his monster defensive prowess, but off the court, it turns out the dude has some pipes.
Allen held his “fan-favorite” karaoke event tonight to raise money for Juvenile Intervention and Faith-Based-Follow-Up, and it’s safe to say he gave the people of Memphis what they wanted — Grindfather singing Tag Team’s hit song, “Whoomp! (There It Is)”:

This rendition was apparently good enough to earn Allen’s co-singer a perfect score:
I need to go ahead and inform the Twitter public that I just got a PERFECT SCORE at Tony Allen #karaoke night. #Grizz #grindfather

Crappy singers, however, were not spared by Tony or his fellow judge, Brevin Knight. Just ask this man who smoked a box of cigarettes then sang “What a Wonderful World”:

(Yes, Brevin definitely called that guy’s singing “garbage.”)
If all of that wasn’t awesome enough for you to consider attending next year, maybe a couple getting engaged at the event will:
