Kyle Chipchura Goes Down Via One Punch, Paul Gaustad Keeps Punching

Nashville Predators tough guy Paul Gaustad probably could’ve stopped throwing punches after that first right landed clean on Kyle Chipchura’s face Monday night during the Predators-Coyotes game. Again, I’m no expert on NHL fighting like 99.9% of the Internet, but it seems Kyle had enough after that first one landed clean on his nose. Maybe I just don’t know enough about hockey fight etiquette to know if the punches while Kyle was on his knee is just part of the game.
It’s not like Chipchura is a rookie when it comes to dropping the gloves. This was his 8th fight of the season. Just looks like he was caught off guard by the speed of that first one.
Get ’em next time, Kyle.
