…until the first day of spring and it’s -2 this morning and the wind chills are supposed to get to -18 tonight here at the BC HQ. Meanwhile, I’ve been getting reports from my dad on how he’s struggling on Marco Island in Florida. I think he said it was supposed to be 79 there today. Seems like decent beach weather. I’m pretty sure it hasn’t been 40 here since late November.

I didn’t watch at single lap of the Daytona 500, but I had a feeling there were going to be a bunch of empty seats. There were empty seats – lots of empty seats. Remember, when ESPN runs away from a sport, there’s usually a good reason why.
