Jayson Werth Dishing Out Autographs in Jail?

Guys, Washington Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth is totally upping his street cred in jail right now. Seriously.
According to NBC Washington, Werth reported to jail on Friday to serve a five-day reckless driving sentence. Not too long after arriving, a Reddit user, who was allegedly spending his last day in the same jail, claims to have told Werth he was at Game 4 of the 2012 NLDS (Werth hit a walk-off home run) and asked him to sign his prison handbook.
You hear this story and assume it’s fake off the bat, but he actually provided proof—as you can see in the above image.

For the folks out there who want to compare and contrast handwriting, here’s a Werth signature off a baseball card:

Sure looks similar! I’m going to go with real purely because life is better when random crap like this goes down—and the personalized note helps too.
