Pau Gasol is one of the more interesting NBA players around. For one, the guy has a major side interest in medicine, so much so that he once fired a bunch of questions about scoliosis to some doctors in an LA hospital a couple years ago. (You know, just the typical NBA player asking about spine conditions.)
And as you can see from the photo above, Gasol also digs the opera and took teammate Nazr Mohammed to his first ever event this past weekend:
Man, I’m all for classy stuff but I just can’t do operas. For whatever reason one of my elementary school teachers thought taking a bunch of nine-year-olds would be a grand experience. Nope. Mohammed on the other hand, claims he had a good time:
