In 2008, actor Mickey Rourke portrayed a washed-up wrestler—in The Wrestler— and was snubbed out of an Academy Award for his performance. Fast-forward six years later, and Rourke is back in the ring … as a boxer.
Rourke, 62, fought for the first time in 20 years on Friday, taking on 29-year-old Elliot Seymour in an exhibition match in Moscow. The fight was a clunky snoozefest, with Rourke “downing” Seymour twice off of some weak body shots. There was also a brief moment of rope-a-dope action by the actor.

I would imagine that is what boxing scenes in movies look like before both of the actors have their choreography down.
Also, you probably won’t be shocked to learn that Seymour had a 1-9 professional record going into the match. Some guys try to win, but not Seymour—he’s all about that loss column.
