Meet Tati March — she’s the Packers fan who was holding the “My ex-cheating boyfriend is watching from his dorm instead,” at Sunday’s game against the Eagles. We tweeted out the photo this morning, a couple Green Bay media outlets took notice and now she’s getting some run. There has been a short investigation into the backstory to the sign and we can report that the guy in the camo is her current boyfriend, Zak, who plays football at Concordia (Wis.) University.
From what we can tell, Tati was getting revenge on her boyfriend before Zak came into her life. That’s right, she’s still thinking about destroying the ex while enjoying a Packers game with her new boyfriend. I don’t need Dr. Phil to tell me that’s not a good sign for Zak. It seems like he might just be the rebound.
Green Bay Press-Gazette Facebook users seem to agree with me. A post featuring this photo currently has 15,000-plus likes, but some are starting to see through Tati’s message:
Do I blame Zak for going along with the sign idea? Not at all. It looks like he landed a Packers ticket out of this deal. He’s young. This doesn’t have to be a forever relationship and he might end up weaseling his way into more tickets (Patriots game coming up, perhaps?). Maybe he gets playoff tickets for Christmas.
Our advice to him is to just be careful if Tati keeps mentioning the ex. Something tells us she’s not over the cheater.
