While most of America sat unproductively on Sunday freaking out over Ben Roethlisberger shitting the bed and fake Andy Reid taking the stands, surfer Anastasia Ashley (@AnastasiaAshley) gave all the surfer brahs something to talk about.
Ashley, kind of famous for her Kim Kardashian-type ass shot, posted the video clip above of her taking on some waves—apologies for the cacophonous “extreme sports” music included.
The only thing really missing was Ashley’s infamous pre-surf twerk, but don’t worry, I got you:
And while Ashley may “just” be a surfer-model, she’s not afraid to attempt to mix it up with A-listers.
The 2010 Women’s Pipeline pro Champion threw some barbs at Gisele Bundchen in October, venting to TMZ about the supermodel being featured in a Chanel No. 5 perfume campaign (via NESN):
The problem is in the surfer industry, there’s been an overflow of fashion models coming into our space. I think that there’s so many gorgeous professional female surfers and so many girls that would’ve really excelled and made this campaign awesome, so I really thought that it would’ve been cool if Chanel would have went a little more authentic.
Unfortunately for Anastasia, high fashion cares not for surfing authenticity. Oh, and Gisele being the face of Chanel Beauty and all that shit.
Perhaps more twerking videos will do the trick?
