The San Francisco 49ers’ full 2025 season schedule is here. The NFL released week-by-week schedules for all 32 teams on Thursday, and the 49ers have a slate that includes international games, prime-time matchups, and a trip to face the defending Super Bowl champions.
San Francisco opens the season overseas – kicking off Week 1 against the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 10 at 8:35 p.m. in Melbourne, Australia, streaming live on Netflix. It’s a rematch of a familiar NFC West rivalry, just with a very different backdrop.

San Francisco gets their bye in Week 8, which lands at a reasonable point in the season before things get serious. The back half of the schedule is where it gets interesting – road trips to Kansas City and Los Angeles (Chargers), plus a prime-time home game against the Eagles in the final week of the regular season.
The 49ers also head to Mexico City in Week 11 to host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football. It’s their second international appearance of the year, which makes San Francisco one of the NFL’s more well-traveled teams in 2025.
