Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo’s home was egged early Saturday morning following Philadelphia’s Friday night loss to the Chicago Bears, Moorestown Police confirmed.
The vandalism occurred just hours after the Eagles’ disappointing 24-15 defeat at Lincoln Financial Field. While initial social media reports suggested rocks were thrown at the residence, police clarified that eggs were used in the incident. The investigation remains active.
A video circulating online shows multiple individuals throwing objects at Patullo’s home in the middle of the night.
Patullo, 44, has faced mounting criticism as the Eagles’ offense continues to sputter despite its massive payroll. Philly’s attack — the NFL’s most expensive unit — currently ranks a dismal 24th in total yards (304.8 per game), 23rd in passing (196.3 YPG), 22nd in rushing (108.5 YPG) and 19th in scoring (22.5 PPG).
It’s been a rough stretch for the Birds.
The offensive struggles have intensified scrutiny on Patullo, who was promoted from passing game coordinator and associate head coach to offensive coordinator this offseason. He replaced Kellen Moore, who’s now leading the New Orleans Saints as head coach.
Despite the team’s recent skid, head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed during Monday’s conference call that Patullo will continue calling plays. The decision comes after what Sirianni described as a weekend of evaluation following back-to-back losses.
Patullo has been with the organization since Sirianni’s hiring in 2021. The Eagles (8-4) will look to get back on track when they travel to face the Los Angeles Chargers next Monday night.
