The Minnesota Vikings are really trying hard to join the big game. But right now, the main fight in the NFC is between two teams: the Philadelphia Eagles and the Detroit Lions. One of these teams is getting weaker, while the other is becoming stronger.
Detroit has been hit hard by injuries this season, with an unbelievable 22 players on injured reserve. Players are getting hurt left and right, making it tough for the team to stay strong. Meanwhile, the Eagles also have some players out, but they’re not as badly affected. Help might be arriving soon for Philadelphia.

Philadelphia’s defensive end Bryce Huff might be back soon as he starts practicing again. He was sidelined after wrist surgery in November. According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Huff’s recovery is going as planned.
Even if the Lions have a talented lineup, it’s hard to win when so many players are injured. Adding someone like Huff to the Eagles’ roster gives them an edge in the playoffs. Sometimes, luck plays a big role.
In Week 15, the Lions lost key players Alim McNeil and David Montgomery to knee injuries. Both are crucial to their team’s success and hopes for a Super Bowl run. Plus, Aidan Hutchinson has been out most of the season with a leg injury. On the other hand, the Eagles are nearly at full strength with Huff’s return approaching.
Huff injured his wrist during pregame warmups against the Jaguars but pushed through for three games before opting for surgery. After signing a significant contract last offseason, he’s had a rocky start with the Eagles. With 10 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble so far, his performance may improve once fully recovered.
A fresh start could be just what Huff needs when he gets back on the field for Philadelphia.
