UFC fighter Natan Levy is currently stuck in Israel after flying to spend time with his family ahead of his cousin’s wedding just ahead of the weekend.

Levy is 25-30 miles away from the scene of the horrible attacks launched by Hamas, he told TMZ Sports.

Levy said he and his family heard sirens in the area and retreated to a bunker as the initial wave of attacks was being carried out.

“What’s happening — it’s not far from here. It’s a war zone, and it’s just by the hand of God I’m not there inside the war zone,” Levy told TMZ Live. “I think we’re going to have to attack — they’ve left us no choice.

“Hopefully the least amount of civilians get hurt, but all of the blood is on their hands.”

There have been horrifying reports of beheadings and civilians being burned alive during the attacks, while others were taken hostage.

Levy says he hopes Israel’s retaliations continue and that the hostages are rescued as quickly as possible.

“We’ve got to strike back. And we’ve got to get out as much people as we can out of there as fast as possible. Because the way they hold people hostage, it’s not humane,” Levy said. “It’s crimes against humanity.”

The conflict between Israel and Palestinian militant groups is ongoing with the violence increasing in the Gaza area.
